The Henley Farrell Big Band has over 18 years experience of providing live music in Nottingham and across the East Midlands (Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire). Full of vibrant energy, our singers and musicians
perform music from well known artists: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Robbie Williams,
Michael Buble, Bette Midler, Matt Monro and many more.

Besides the Big Band, we also run a Jazz Quintet, a smaller version of the Big Band

New Gig Dates Announced for Regency Dance Centre

Due to the great night had by everyone on 7th November at the Regency Dance Centre, we are pleased to announce 2 new dates for this venue for 2010. January 30th 2010 will see the first anniversary of the re-opening of the Dance Centre and we are pleased to be providing the entertainment for this evening. Also on December 11th 2010 there will be a Christmas Ball at which the band has been asked to play.

Easy Does It (www.easydoesit.org.uk) now has it's own website. The group consists of players from the Big Band that enjoy and excel at playing music for the more energetic dancers! Their forte is the Swing Dance / Lindy Hop Jazz style that was so popular during the 1930's and since has had a huge revival. Visit the EDI website .

The band is fronted by two top singers, Craig and Tashaka Baumber. Visit our musicians page to find out more about these two.
